Volunteering
During my time as a camp counselor for the Texas A&M Future Doctors Summer Camp, I had the opportunity to work with high school students at North Shore High School in Houston to encourage their interest in STEM and healthcare careers. I led hands-on workshops where students learned how to suture, practiced taking a patient history and physical exam, and explored the medical field through interactive teaching. We also took a trip to the Houston Health Science Museum, giving students a broader perspective on medicine and science.
